Marni at H&M

Marni at H&M

A new collaboration between H&M, the Swedish low price clothing colossal with hundreds of retail outlets around the world, and a high fashion label: after Stella McCartney and Versace, it’s Marni‘s turn, a young Italian brand founded by Swiss designer Consuelo Castiglioni in 1994 who in these few years has created a place for her label in the forefront of international fashion runways.

On March 8th, that’s right, for Women’s Day, the capsule collection designed by Marni will arrive in a number of select H&M stores. A gift, long-awaited indeed, for all those fashion addicts who also have a budget: a truly interesting collection with prices ranging from 20 to 100 Euros.

The collection was presented in Los Angeles at the end of last month with a huge party, where dozens of celebrities participated, including Rose McGowan, Mena Suvari, Andrea Riseborough, Winona Ryder, Freida Pinto, Felicity Jones, Mel Gibson, Drew Barrymore, Milla Jovovich and of course none other than Sofia Coppola, director of the commercial filmed in Marrakech.

After the first Marni collection where Castiglioni revolutionised the concept of fur, updating it and turning it into a particularly suitable ‘must’ for the very young, the brand developed in a direction that led it to a personal aesthetic style, unique and easily identifiable, made with A-lined skirts, colour block dresses and geometric models.

In particular, the Marni at H&M collection offers splendid vintage fabrics, eccentric African-inspired prints and many beautiful and colourful accessories, from bracelets to glasses: as it is a limited edition, expect never-ending line ups!
