Trendy fluo

The big come-back of fluorescent colours for Spring Summer 2012. We had already noticed this trend in a number of pieces from the collections presented by the most meticulous and renowned international designers.

Jil SanderBlumarineVersaceMarc by Marc JacobsGianfranco Ferrè and Bottega Veneta dared a few extravagant outfits, especially in colour blocking versions. It seems, however, that it was not so successful with customers, who are perhaps more attracted to the pastels that dominated many collections, and geometric patterns.

The true fluorescent explosion is in the world of accessories: hot pink, fluorescent yellow, green and orange shoes, watches, bags, glasses, pashminas, necklaces and bracelets. And to this regard, every single brand proposes articles in full-out colour, to name just a few: Stella McCartney, DiorCasadeiChristian LouboutinJean Paul GaultierAlexander WangJust CavalliYosi SamraHip Hop, SwatchLiu JoMoschino CheapandChic

No matter what the material is, whether it is leather, rubber, silk, satin or anything else, inserts and fluorescent details have become must-haves for the season, and they go perfectly with black or elegant outfits where these vitaminic colours can really pop out without clashing. A cute and bubbly way of expressing how much you enjoy summer and fun.
